'So I sent it to George, Brad and Steven and asked them to read it. 'The script had within it a terrific idea for Ocean's Twelve,' says producer Jerry Weintraub. They need that adrenaline rush and it's something they've missed during the past three years.' The storyline for Ocean's Twelve was, in part, inspired by George Nofli's screenplay Honor Among Thieves, about two thieves out to top each other in their quest to be the best in the world. 'Even though everyone in the crew is trying to lead a somewhat legitimate life,' says Clooney, 'the truth is, the characters are happiest when they're planning and pulling off a heist.
